Historic Apalachicola



A fund raiser celebrating the Florida Seafood Festival! FREE BEER with entrance donation. Pledges accepted, we need to raise $20,000 to help save peoples' homes and keep the electricity on! We need 2000 people to give $20 each over the next two days! How can you celebrate our great seafood with out supporting the families that are the backbone of the industry? Come enjoy live music, cold beer, wine, shrimp and special activities at the Apalachicola Maritime Museum. Watch the blessing of the fleet from the best dock in town!  The festivities are 12 noon to 9:00 PM  on Friday, November 02 and Saturday, November 03.

 November 2 and November 3 from 4-5pm JOHN SPOHRER, JR. Gives talking tours sharing information about his photography exhibit at the Center for History, Culture and Art .  Held over by popular demand until Saturday, November 24.  He will close his photography show offering a slide presentation at 4:30 pm.
Trinity Episcopal Church will host a seafood luncheon, serving Oyster casserole, Gumbo and a baked goods table.. Saturday, November 3, immediately following the Seafood Festival parade; 11a-2p. 
Backwoods, Knee-Slappin, Foot-Tappin, Apalach Bluegrass Jam! at the Gardens Shop on Saturday, November 10 from 6:30p-9p, featuring Eclectic Acoustic, a six piece bluegrass/folk band from Tallahassee.  The folks are making Chicken Perlew and having a costume contest for the most backwoods looking character.  Go to www.gardensinc.net for more information.
