The Germans Are Coming
On Friday March 9th, a contingent of German WW2 SS Grenadiers will bivouac at the old high school football field at the Carrabelle Municipal Complex. They are cominhg to carrabelle as a historic re-enactment group out of Quincy Florida.
On Saturday March 10th at 2:00 pm the contingent will give a demonstration of German WW2 infantry tactics at the area on the old Gulf State Bank property, on Hwy 98 in Carrabelle. There will be live fire demonstrations, with blanks of course, using weapons carried by German WW2 soldiers.
This is an example of living history that should be a great intrest to students of all ages. Ther is no charge for attendees be we ask that you follow the safe distance areas marked off by re-enactors.
